Coffee County, Georgia
Coffee County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. The 2005 Census Estimate shows a population of 39,674. The county seat is Douglas.
History
Coffee County was created by an act of the Georgia General Assembly on February 9, 1854. The County is named for General John E. Coffee, an officer in the War of 1812, a state legislator, and a U. S. representative.
