Henry County, Georgia
Henry County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the population was 119,341. The 2006 Census Estimate placed the population at 178,033. The county seat is McDonough, Georgia. It is also home to the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA

History
Henry County was created on May 15, 1821. It was named for Patrick Henry, hero of the American Revolution.
