Schley County, Georgia
Schley County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of 2000, the population is 3,766. The 2005 Census Estimate shows a population of 4,122. The county seat is Ellaville, Georgia.

History
The County was created by an act of the Georgia General Assembly on December 22, 1857, and is named for William Schley, United States representative and thirty-eighth governor of Georgia.
