Spalding County, Georgia
Spalding County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created December 20, 1851. As of 2000, the population was 58,417. The 2005 Census Estimate placed the population at 61,289. The county seat is Griffin, Georgia.
History
The County is named for former United States representative and senator Thomas Spalding.
