Twiggs County, Georgia
Twiggs County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of 2000, the population is 10,590. The 2005 Census Estimate shows a population of 10,299. The county seat is Jeffersonville, Georgia.

History
The county is named for American Revolutionary War general John Twiggs. It was created on December 14, 1809.
