Whitfield County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of the Dalton, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the population was 83,525. The 2006 Census Estimate shows a population of 92,999. The county seat is Dalton, Georgia.
